Tua Tagovailoa Has Fractured Ribs, Won't Play In Week 3
3 years agoMiami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores announced on Wednesday that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) was diagnosed with fractured ribs after further testing and he will not play in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Tagovailoa was knocked out of the Week 2 blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills and is in danger of missing multiple weeks with this injury. Backup Jacoby Brissett went 24-for-40 for 169 yards with no touchdowns and an interception and was sacked four times after he relieved Tagovailoa last Sunday. Against an improved Raiders defense, Brissett will be nothing more than a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues, while all of Miami's skill offensive players should be downgraded slightly. Tagovailoa should only be stashed in dynasty and superflex leagues if you don't have better options.
