Tua Tagovailoa Carries No Injury Status for Sunday
Tua Tagovailoa (hip/thumb) carries no injury designation for the team's Week 6 matchup with the Chargers. Tagovailoa was a limited participant to start the week due to injuries to the thumb of his throwing hand as well as his hip, but has since logged two full practices and is a full go for Sunday. Through five weeks, Tagovailoa has averaged over 250 passing yards per game, throwing ten touchdowns to only four interceptions, and has shown an instant rapport with tight end Darren Waller over the past two weeks. In the Dolphins' first game without All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill, he had arguably his best game of the year, but the Chargers' defense presents challenges that the Panthers could not in Week 5. Tagovailoa can be started in a pinch, but outside of superflex leagues, there should be better options available in most leagues.
