Trevor Bauer's Administrative Leave To Be Extended
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer's administrative leave will be extended by another seven days by Major League Baseball on Friday, with consent from the Players Association, according to sources. We warned fantasy managers last week that Bauer could be unavailable for an extended amount of time as MLB's investigation of sexual-assault allegations against Bauer continues. There's no timetable on when the legal process might play out, so you'll have to be patient here. The 2020 National League Cy Young winner has been great in his first year in LA with a 2.59 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 137 K's in 107 2/3 innings, but these are serious allegations and he could be facing a lengthy suspension by MLB. With Clayton Kershaw (forearm) now on the injured list, the Dodgers rotation is suddenly more vulnerable heading into the All-Star break.
