Tre Jones Notches A Double-Double Against The Lakers
2 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Tre Jones recorded his second double-double of the season in Saturday's loss to the Lakers, scoring 23 points and handing out 13 assists. He missed only four of his 13 shots in 36 minutes on the court, and Jones even wasn't far from a triple-double, finishing with eight rebounds. He picked up two steals on the defensive end and turned over the ball only once. Following a good start to the season, the Spurs and Jones have struggled in November, but the young guard will have gained some confidence from his recent performances. He also put up 19 points Friday against the Lakers. Jones tends to cool off quickly, but at least on paper, he has another good matchup coming up on Wednesday against the Thunder, who have given up 25.1 points per 48 minutes to opposing point guards this season.
