Tony Pollard Expected To See A Career-High In Touches
1 year agoThe big question this year is will the Dallas Cowboys keep running back Tony Pollard's usage the same as it's been in previous years in an effort to maintain his production, or will they put more on his plate with Ezekiel Elliott gone? The Athletic's Saad Yousuf believes the end result will be something in the middle, which should equate to a new career-high in touches for Pollard, but not as many as Elliott saw when he was at the height of his career in Dallas. Since the Cowboys took Pollard in the fourth round in 2019, his usage has revolved around supplementing Elliott. The 26-year-old is also coming off a significant ankle injury, but he appears to be fully and should be Dallas' unquestioned lead back in 2023, making him a midrange RB1 in fantasy.
