Tony Finau got off to a strong start in the opening round of the Zurich Classic on Thursday. In his first tournament appearance since suffering a severe ankle sprain during the Masters, Finau and partner Daniel Summerhays fired a 10-under 62 in the first round of the team event. The unique format of the Zurich Classic offered Finau an opportunity to ease back into PGA Tour competition and test out the ankle in a low-stress, fun environment. The young phenom played well Thursday morning and seems to be recovering well from the scary injury. Finau and Summerhays are tied for third entering Friday's alternate shot second round.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
