San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl (knee) will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2019-2020 campaign after suffering a torn ACL and MCL in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. The 26-year-old skated for just 1:10 of ice time in the contest and scored a goal before departing following a collision into the end boards with Canucks defenseman Chris Tanev. The news comes as a huge disappointment to the Sharks and Hertl's fantasy owners, as the highly skilled forward was putting together another strong season with 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists), seven power-play points and 117 shots on goal in 48 games. The Sharks are hopeful Hertl can return to full health in time for the start of the 2020-2021 season, but his two previous injuries to the same knee could elongate the recovery timeline.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
