Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has decided to appeal the 20-game suspension given to him for an illegal check to the head of St. Louis Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist in a preseason game on Sept. 29. The date of Wilson's appeal has not yet been announced and the 24-year-old will remain suspended until a decision is made. The news of Wilson's suspension comes as a big blow to fantasy owners as the former first-round pick had carved out a role on the Capitals' top line with Alexander Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov. Wilson has been suspended four times over his past 105 games and if the suspension is upheld, he won't be eligible to return to action until November 21st.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
