T.J. Brodie Keeps Heating Up, Scores Three Points Against Red Wings
6 years agoCalgary Flames defenseman T.J. Brodie logged two power-play assists on Friday in addition to an empty net goal to seal Friday night's victory. It was Brodie's first three-point night of the season but his third multi-point game in his last five games. Brodie has only 23 points in 49 games, but he has nine points since the start of 2019 and has made his case as a decent streaming option while he rides this hot streak. Brodie is on Calgary's second power-play unit and has seen his shot rate dip to 1.32 shots per game, so his long term value is questionable, but in the short term, he could be worth an add if you are looking for help on the blueline.
