Titans Defensive Coordinator Is Retiring
5 years agoTennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dean Pees announced his retirement on Monday after the team fell to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. The 70-year-old will call it quits in the NFL after coaching for 16 seasons with the Patriots, Ravens and Titans. Overall in 2019, the Titans Defense allowed 359.5 yards per game, 255 passing yards per game, 104.5 rushing yards per game and 20.7 points per game. They did an excellent job in the first two playoff games to hold the Patriots and Ravens to just 25 combined points, but the Chiefs explosive pass offense got the best of them on Sunday. Pees won two Super Bowl rings with the Patriots and Ravens.
