Tim Patrick Leads Broncos In Receiving In Week 3
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick led the team with five catches on five targets for 98 receiving yards in the Week 3 win over the New York Jets. Patrick's five targets were tied with Courtland Sutton for the most on Sunday in a game in which the Broncos did not need to air the ball out much. With Jerry Jeudy dealing with a high ankle sprain suffered in the season opener, Patrick has become a WR4/flex option, and his value could go up even more if KJ Hamler's knee injury causes him to miss any games. The 27-year-old isn't much of a big-play threat, but he's consistent when targeted and is also one of the team's better red-zone weapons because of his physicality. Patrick is only 22 percent owned in Yahoo leagues, but that number should be on the rise heading into a Week 4 date with the Baltimore Ravens.
