Tim Beckham Looks To Build On Superb Post-Trade 2017
7 years agoPerhaps all Tim Beckham needed was a change of scenery. He went from being seen as a bust of a high Draft pick to all but sealing J.J. Hardy's fate as an ex-Oriole in the span of months. Beckham nearly doubled his career highs in doubles and RBI. The question is, will he continue to carry that forward or will he lapse into his older ways? We're cautiously optimistic, but even with his surge in production, he's still seen as a middle-of-the-pack shortstop, well behind people like Francisco Lindor and Carlos Correa. Our experts see him as a good grab at pick No. 150 or so, though it seems like one of them is still not entirely sold, not even listing him. He's a very low-risk, high-reward possibility.
