Tiger Woods didn't win The Players Championship this week, but he showed flashes of his former brilliance over the weekend. After barely making the 36-hole cut, Woods had moments of greatness in the final two rounds at TPC Sawgrass and finished in a tie for 11th place. The 14-time major champion shot a scorching 65 in the third round and followed that with a final round 69 Sunday. Woods had chances to score even better after hot starts this weekend, but faded on the back nine in both rounds. His performance at The Players Championship must be counted as a step in the right direction in his latest comeback attempt. At this time, Woods isn't scheduled to play again until the U.S. Open in June.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
