Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot (upper body) will be absent for a fifth time in six games on Wednesday night against the Vegas Golden Knights. He remains day-to-day with a lingering upper-body issue. Nikolas Matinpalo took Chabot's spot in the Senators defense on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings and is poised to stay in the lineup for Wednesday's contest. In Monday's 2-1 loss, Martinpalo recorded an assist, but he isn't known as a regular scorer. Jordan Spence is filling in for Chabot on the second power-play unit and could draw some fantasy interest on Wednesday against a team with a mediocre penalty-killing record.--Taavi Pailk
