Tampa Bay Rays outfield prospect Theo Gillen got off to a slow start this season at Single-A Charleston after dealing with a calf injury that kept him out until April 27, going 9-for-44 (.205) over his first 14 games. But in the seven games since, the 2024 first-round draft pick has recorded six multi-hit efforts, going 12-for-26 (.462) over that stretch. The 19-year-old is now the author of a .300/.451/.543 slash line for the season with four home runs and 12 stolen bases. The Rays' fifth-ranked prospect should see a promotion to High-A later this year, but is still a couple of years away from the majors. With an enticing power/speed profile, though, he's a prospect dynasty managers should continue to keep tabs on.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerRead More News
