The Houston Texans acquired veteran offensive guard Shaq Mason and a seventh-round pick in 2023 from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday in exchange for a sixth-round pick this year, according to a source. In a related move, the Texans then released veteran right guard A.J. Cann, who started 16 games for the team last season. It's the second straight season that Mason has been traded. The 29-year-old is versatile and can play either left or right guard, but he's likely to take over for Cann on the right side in 2023. The 31-year-old Cann wasn't terrible last year for Houston, so he should be able to latch on with another team in free agency.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
