Teddy Bridgewater Not Expected To Practice Wednesday
3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (head) is progressing through the league's concussion protocol and is feeling better, but he's not expected to practice on Wednesday, according to a source. Drew Lock will take the first-team repetitions in practice. Bridgewater suffered the first documented concussion of his career in the Week 4 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, so that gives him a better shot at being able to return for a Week 5 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 28-year-old has been efficient with five touchdowns, 892 passing yards and no interceptions through four weeks, and Denver's offense is in much better hands with him over Lock. If Bridgewater is forced to sit out this weekend, fantasy managers should downgrade the rest of Denver's offensive weapons with Lock running the show.
