Teams Willing To Give Jonathan Taylor A Market Contract
1 year agoAt least two NFL teams are still actively working to construct a trade for Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor and are respectively making substantive offers, according to a source. The teams are mutually willing to give Taylor a market contract. The Miami Dolphins and a mystery team are in the mix for Taylor's services, but it remains to be seen if they'll get anything done before the Colts' deadline of Tuesday. Taylor requested a trade earlier this summer because he was unhappy with the lack of a contract extension with Indy, but he also remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list after undergoing offseason ankle surgery. The 24-year-old's fantasy stock as an RB1 has taken a big hit going into the 2023 season, but a trade to a team like the Dolphins would surely make him much more attractive again.
