Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Tanner Pearson posted his first goal of the season with an assist on four shots while dishing out six hits over 16:31 of ice time in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss against the Buffalo Sabres. Pearson managed just one assist with a minus-9 rating in 17 games with the Los Angeles Kings, but he appears to have some energy in his first few days in the Steel City. This was his first multi-point performance since April 5 of last season as a member of the Kings. Take a wait-and-see approach on Pearson and only consider him in deeper pools if he can start producing semi-regularly.--Daniel Dobish
