Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton Officially Out For Week 4
3 years agoThe New York Giants have officially ruled out wide receivers Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) for a Week 4 date with the New Orleans Saints on the road. It's a tough blow for a Giants team, as Shepard currently leads the Giants receiving corps with 18 receptions on 22 targets for 223 yards and a touchdown through the first three games of the season. Slayton is third behind Shepard and Kenny Golladay with seven catches for 127 yards and a score. Rookie Kadarius Toney and Collin Johnson will be asked to pick up the slack alongside Golladay on Sunday. The Saints have one of the better secondaries in the league, so this won't be easy for the Giants as they look to get their first win of the season. Golladay is your best fantasy option, but he's off to a disappointing start in New York and will merely be a WR3/4.
