Stephen Curry Nets 41 Points Against Washington
2 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry had his best scoring outing since Nov. 16 on Monday, putting up 41 points in a 127-118 victory against the Wizards. He was 12-for-28 from the field with a 6-for-15 record from deep and shot 11-for-12 at the foul line. Curry also handed out a pair of assists and grabbed seven rebounds in 38 minutes. The former MVP will now get some nice time off before facing another back-to-back set against Boston and Cleveland. These are two very good defensive teams, but their work against Curry hasn't been good enough, as the veteran star went for 40 points in his first meeting with the Cavaliers this season and also boasts a 32-point effort against Boston from last month.
