Sixto Sanchez Dealing With Mild Shoulder Inflammation
Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) had an MRI on Friday and was diagnosed with mild inflammation in the back of the right shoulder, according to MLB.com's Christina De Nicola. It appears Sanchez has avoided serious injury, as he has been prescribed "a few days rest" and will then begin to rehab with a throwing program. Sanchez had exited Wednesday's simulated game with shoulder discomfort, and it appears it shouldn't have too significant an impact on when he'll be ready to join Miami.
