11 months agoTampa Bay Rays closer Sergio Romo earned the win Tuesday versus the Orioles. He came into the ninth inning with one out and recorded the last two outs on just six pitches. The Rays would win in the bottom of the ninth and earn Romo his second win of the season. He has 13 saves this season and also opened five games. Romo will continue to be worth owning in most leagues that reward saves as long as he retains his closing job. The biggest threat to his position will be if the Rays turn their attention to the future. If they choose to get a look at their future, young arms like Jose Alvarado could take over the job.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
