Saquon Barkley Limited To Start The Week
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Barkley continues to take things slow in practices and games after tearing his ACL early in the 2020 season. However, he handled 84 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 2 loss to the Washington Football Team, and he could be in line for a bigger workload in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons with a longer layoff between games. This is the first time this season where we actually feel comfortable with the 24-year-old as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2, especially against the 0-2 Falcons. Barkley could be listed as questionable again later in the week, but we fully expect him to play and to see his largest workload of the young season.
