Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson will make a third consecutive start Saturday against the Kings. Carter Hart (concussion) was initially expected to be back on Saturday, but his return to action now looks set to come Monday in a matchup versus Anaheim. Ersson struggled in his first career start last week and allowed five goals on 30 shots against Carolina, but he did much better in his second outing versus San Jose on Thursday, helping the team to a 4-3 victory in overtime with 25 saves on 28 shots. He will likely have a busy New Year's Eve, with L.A. averaging the 10th-most shots per game in the league this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
