Sal Stewart Dominant Since Joining Triple-A
Sal Stewart has continued to perform at an elite level since moving up to Triple-A. Over his last 11 games at the top level of the minor leagues, Stewart has posted a stellar .400/.468/.800 slash line with seven doubles, three home runs, 11 RBI, and a 4:6 K:BB. Through 18 total games with the Louisville Bats, the No. 2-ranked prospect in the system on MLB.com has posted a strong .948 OPS with seven doubles and four long balls. Stewart opened the campaign with Double-A and looked just as dominant, holding a .306/.377/.473 line with 19 doubles, 10 home runs, and 13 stolen bases across an 80-game stint. Even though the Reds recently acquired third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes, Stewart could find a role if the Reds remain in the NL playoff race.
