Ryan Tannehill Likely Done For The Season
2 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) will likely miss the rest of the season after re-injuring his right ankle in the Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, according to multiple sources. Tannehill has missed both days of practice so far this week, which has allowed rookie Malik Willis to work as the starter. Willis is expected to make the second start of his career this Saturday against the Houston Texans, while Tannehill could require surgery on his ankle. He originally sprained his right ankle on Oct. 23 and missed two games before he returned. The Titans also signed veteran Josh Dobbs to their active roster on Wednesday, another sign that Tannehill's injury is significant. If Tannehill is done for the year, it's a big loss for Tennessee's offense. They'll likely lean even more on the run like they did when Tannehill missed two games earlier this year.
