Ryan McMahon Out Against Lefty
Ryan McMahon will retreat to the bench for Tuesday's contest against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies at Coors Field with left-hander Jesus Luzardo on the bump. Aaron Schunk will take over at third and will hit ninth in the batting order. McMahon is hitless in six career at-bats against Luzardo and has gone 8-for-50 (.160) with one of his six homers and 20 strikeouts against southpaws in 2025. The lefty hitter has been hot in May, going 17-for-57 (.298) with four homers, three doubles, a triple, seven RBI, one steal and 13 runs scored in 17 games played. He should be back in action on Wednesday. Schunk won't be very attractive as a sleeper in DFS at the bottom of the order against a strong pitcher, even at hitter-friendly Coors Field. He's hit 5-for-20 in 2025 with no homers and a run scored as a bench player.
