New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren suffered an upper-body injury in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Boston. He was able to play just 3:09 before exiting after taking a late hit from Bruins winger David Pastrnak. Lindgren is sitting on an eight-game scoring drought and has only two points for the season, but he's a huge presence on the Rangers blue line and will be sorely missed if he's set to spend an extended time on the sidelines. The 24-year-old is second on the team in hits (17) and blocks (28). The Rangers will now be off until Sunday and we should more about Lindgren's injury prior to the team's clash with the Red Wings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
