Ryan Blaney, fellow Team Penske teammate of Austin Cindric, tried to snatch the win from Cindric late in the race. It looked like he had the speed and lift. However, Cindric brilliantly blocked him which set off a chain of events. Blaney and several cars collided as he was credited with fourth place when all was said and done. It was some end to the 200+1 lap race. Blaney was helped by two things. The lap 190 accident that took out Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, and Erik Jones. Then, the lap 195 melee which ended Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s day. Blaney had the position, tried the move, and it just did not work. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
