Roope Hintz scored a goal with two assists in the Dallas Stars’ 4-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night. Prior to that offensive outburst, the speedy forward had provided just one assist in the past six games. He now has 32 points in 54 games. Jason Dickinson’s goal and assist put him two points away from tying his career-high in points at 22, which was set last year. Denis Gurianov also had a goal and an assist. He has 27 points in 58 games this season but has found the back of the net 18 times. Anton Khudobin turned aside 40 of 41 shots and has now allowed just one goal in three straight games. For Carolina, Sebastian Aho and Andrei Svechnikov both extended their respective point streaks.
