Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi (upper body) was placed on Injured Reserve Saturday. He is now considered week-to-week after being initially regarded as day-to-day. Josi missed a second consecutive game on Saturday against the New York Islanders. With Josi out, Brady Skjei has taken over as the Predators' No. 1 defenseman. He led all skaters in ice time during Saturday's 7-4 loss with 26:06, logging 4:22 of power-play time. However, Skjei finished scoreless for the seventh time in eight games. He has picked up 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) in 59 appearances across the season.--Taavi Pailk
