5 years agoHouston Astros catcher Robinson Chirinos is enjoying a fantastic month of June but has cooled off over the last week heading into Saturday night's action. Chirinos began the month hitting six home runs in his first nine games but is 2-for-15 (.133) since. Nonetheless, it has been an All-Star caliber first half for the veteran receiver. Chirinos is slashing .234/.366/.489 with 11 doubles, 12 home runs, 35 runs scored and 38 runs batted in this season.
