Richie James Upgrades To Full Practice
1 year agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Richie James (knee) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Tuesday after he was listed as limited on Monday. Barring a setback on Wednesday, James should be fully ready to go for the Week 1 regular season opener on Thursday night against the visiting Detroit Lions. Kadarius Toney (knee) is also expected to be available, but he'll likely have a limited role after having surgery for a torn meniscus this summer. With tight end Travis Kelce (knee) now in doubt for the season opener, the 28-year-old James could have an expanded role behind Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Skyy Moore and Justin Watson to kick off the season. Still, James is more of a long shot as a fantasy lineup option with Rashee Rice and Justyn Ross also available.
