Rhamondre Stevenson Won't Return Monday Night
2 years agoUpdating an ongoing story on Monday night, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) will not return against the Arizona Cardinals due to his ankle injury. Stevenson injured his ankle in the first half but later returned, only to aggravate the injury before being ruled out for good in the third quarter. The 24-year-old had just three carries for eight yards while catching two of his three targets for two yards before leaving for good. On a short week, Stevenson could have trouble suiting up in Week 15. Rookies Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong Jr. have been sharing touches with Stevenson injured. Harris scored his first career touchdown in only his third NFL game on Monday and could serve as New England's lead back in Week 15 if Damien Harris (thigh) and Stevenson cannot play.
