Rasmus Dahlin Continues To Close In On Special Record
1 year agoBuffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin extended his point streak to eight games on Sunday with his second goal of the season in a 4-0 win over Colorado. He was able to keep the scoring run going with an empty-net goal. Only Phil Housley has managed to have a longer point streak in Sabres history among defensemen, and he also holds the club's all-time record with 14 games. Dahlin still has a bit more work to do to threaten the record, but considering his current form, you wouldn't put it past him to get there. In nine games this season, Dahlin has added seven assists to his two goals.
