Rashard Higgins Misses Practice Friday
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins (leg) missed practice on Friday, but head coach Kevin Stefanski said that Higgins' injury isn't serious. Higgins came down with a minor injury in practice on Thursday and had his leg wrapped. It's unlikely that he'll play in the preseason finale this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, but he should be ready in time for Week 1 of the regular season. The 26-year-old managed to put up a career-high 559 receiving yards on 37 receptions while also producing 16.2 yards per catch. However, that was also with Odell Beckham Jr. missing most of the season due to injury. Higgins will be competing for snaps as the No. 3 wideout with Donovan Peoples-Jones in a run-heavy offense, so you can't count on him for consistent production.
