Raiders Signing Jakobi Meyers To Three-Year Deal
2 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders are signing New England Patriots free-agent wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to a three-year, $33 million deal on Tuesday, according to sources. The deal contains $21 million guaranteed. Meyers has ties to head coach Josh McDaniels, and he'll pair nicely with Davante Adams as another weapon for new quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. The 26-year-old was one of the best wideouts available on the open market this year, and he's already off the board. He was New England's top receiver the last two years and caught 67 of his 96 targets in 2022 for 804 yards and a career-high six touchdowns. Meyers only has eight touchdowns in his four NFL seasons, though, and he could take a step back for fantasy managers in Vegas while in the shadow of Adams.
