On Saturday, Daniel Rodriguez scored a third-round TKO win over Santiago Ponzinibbio on the main card of UFC Des Moines. Rodriguez almost finished Ponzinibbio in the first round, but Ponzinibbio weathered the storm and managed to make it out of the first round. The finish came in the third round when Rodriguez landed a big left hand during an exchange that knocked Ponzinibbio down. The referee decided to stop the bout, saving Ponzinibbio from further punishment. In 11:12 of action, Rodriguez landed 66 significant strikes.
