Evan Bouchard Collects Two Assists In Losing Effort
Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard had two assists during Saturday's 4-3 loss in Game 3 to the Vegas Golden Knights. He registered a power-play helper on a Corey Perry goal in the first period and picked up another assist late on when Connor McDavid tied the game at 3-3. Bouchard has blown hot and cold throughout the postseason, recording five multi-point games in nine outings but finishing scoreless in the other four contests. Over nine appearances, he has managed four goals and seven assists. Seven of the points came in the first four games of the playoffs, and Bouchard's inconsistency could end up haunting the Oilers.
