Philip Rivers Should Have Big Week Against Raiders
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has been absolutely dominating so far this season, and he should continue that roll this week against the Raiders. Oakland has surrendered 7.9 yards per attempt this season, the fifth most in the league, and Rivers has a history of chewing them up as he's posted a 16-8 record against them since he took over as the team's starting quarterback. Rivers has already thrown 11 touchdowns this year while only turning the ball over twice, and he's on pace to top 4,600 yards this season, which could be the third highest total of his career. With LA's defense still struggling, expect Rivers to be in full gun-slinging mode this week.
