Peter Lambert Suffers Forearm Tightness
Peter Lambert (forearm) suffered from "forearm tightness" during his outing in the Cactus League on Tuesday, according to manager Bud Black. When asked about Lambert's prognosis, Black said, "Fingers crossed." We won't know the severity of the right-hander's injury until the Rockies evaluate him further, but it sounds like an injury that could keep him out for a while. The 22-year-old (23 next month) made 19 starts for the Rockies in 2019 and went 3-7 with a 7.25 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 57 K's in 89 1/3 innings. Lambert could make some starts again for Colorado to open up the season, but he can be ignored in most fantasy leagues for now.
