Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne got the hook once again in Game 7 on Thursday night as the Jets officially eliminated the Preds from Stanley Cup contention. Rinne had a disastrous first half of the first period, allowing two questionable goals on just seven shots against before head coach Peter Laviolette turned to backup goaltender Juuse Saros. The Vezina candidate ends his postseason having been pulled in an astonishing three of his team's 13 playoff games while posting a 3.07 goals against average and a .904 save percentage. Rinne had a difficult time finding any kind of consistency this spring and certainly will bear some of the blame for his team's early exit. The Finnish native will turn 36 next season and will look to put this playoff performance behind him.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
