Pat Freiermuth Practicing In Full
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie tight end Pat Freiermuth (concussion) is practicing in full on Thursday, which means he's well on his way to clearing the league's concussion protocol and returning in Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. Freiermuth suffered a concussion in Week 15 and was held out in last week's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. His return would be great news for an up-and-down Steelers offense. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has relied heavily on the rookie tight end in the red zone this year, as Freiermuth has found the end zone seven times in 14 games in his first year in the NFL. If Freiermuth is back on Monday night, he'll be a low-end TE1 for fantasy managers in championship matchups. He had four catches for 44 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting with Cleveland back in Week 8.
