The Carolina Panthers restructured linebacker Shaq Thompson's contract on Monday to clear more salary cap space for the 2022 season. It comes after the team restructured offensive lineman Taylor Moton's contract last week. The specifics of Thompson's restructured contract weren't disclosed. The 27-year-old had one of his best seasons in 2021 despite missing three games with a foot injury, recording 104 tackles (second-most on the team behind Jeremy Chinn), two sacks and two interceptions. Thompson will very much be in play in IDP leagues in 2022 after three straight seasons with 100-plus tackles for the Panthers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
