There were some close rounds, but Shevchenko was just too much for Fiorot over five rounds as the flyweight champion secured the win with all three judges giving her the nod with 48-47 scorecards. The fight saw Aldo being better in the first half of the fight but faltering in the latter stages, ultimately resulting in a controversial unanimous decision defeat. It was an extremely close fight, and Zahabi was almost knocked out in the final round, but in the end, all three officials gave Zahabi the fight with 29-28 scorecards across the board. Grasso just couldn't get any real offense going, so she was dominated throughout the 15-minute fight. Before this setback, Grasso lost her flyweight title to Valentina Shevchenko in their trilogy bout at UFC 306 in September. In 15 minutes of action, Grasso landed 45 significant strikes. With the loss, Grasso fell to 16-5-1 as a professional and 8-5-1 in the UFC.
