5 days agoHouston Texans wide receivers Tank Dell (calf) and Noah Brown (knee) are both questionable to play on Sunday versus the Denver Broncos. Dell logged a limited practice on Friday while Brown was downgraded to a non-participant. As of now, it appears that the two receivers are going to be game-time decisions this week. Naturally, though, Dell is more likely to play given that he was able to practice on Friday. If active, he'd rank as a high-end WR2 despite a tough matchup versus Denver's talented secondary.Source: Aaron Wilson
5 days agoCleveland Browns quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Los Angeles Rams. Veteran Joe Flacco, who hasn't played a snap since 2022, will start in his place. The 38-year-old was inconsistent with the Jets last season but has previously shown that he's capable of supporting a serviceable offense. While he's not on the fantasy radar, the likes of Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore are fine FLEX options. Meanwhile, David Njoku is a mid-to-low TE1 and Jerome Ford, who could see increased volume, is an RB2.Source: Jake Trotter
5 days agoComing off a rough Week 12, Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell could have a big outing in Week 13. This week, the Commanders are taking on a top-tier offense in the Miami Dolphins. Now that may not sound like a great matchup for Washington's offense, but there is a chance that Miami runs out to an early lead against the Commanders' weak defense. This would play into what Howell has been doing all season, throwing at an extremely high rate. If this game goes how most expect, the second-year quarterback could have a big performance based on the heavy pass volume needed to keep up with the Dolphins. With this in mind, Howell should be considered a solid QB1 in Week 13.Source: RotoBaller
5 days agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. He is officially questionable to play against the New England Patriots in Week 13. Fantasy managers were justifiably concerned when Allen missed the first two days of practice this week, but the fact that he was eventually able to get on the field in a limited capacity leaves the door open for him to suit up against New England. Until we receive any additional information on Allen, fantasy managers should view him as a true game-time decision. Fortunately, Chargers-Patriots kicks off at 1 p.m., which means that we will get confirmation on his status Sunday morning. If active, he'll rank as a WR1 once again.Source: Los Angeles Chargers
5 days agoPhiladelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) is officially doubtful to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The 28-year-old injured himself back in Week 9. Through his first nine contests this year, he caught 48 passes for 410 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 10.1 fantasy points per game (in PPR formats). Although it appears unlikely that Goedert will play in Week 13, fantasy managers should feel optimism about the fact that he was able to practice on Friday. A Week 14 return is certainly possible for the mid-range fantasy TE1.Source: Philadelphia Eagles
5 days agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver Julio Jones (knee) has been removed from the injury report after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. He will play in Week 13 versus the San Francisco 49ers, though he remains off the fantasy radar given his role as the No. 4 wide receiver in Philadelphia. Look for A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith to lead the receiving corps while Olamide Zaccheaus plays a tertiary role.Source: Philadelphia Eagles
5 days agoFormer Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (quadricep) cleared waivers on Friday afternoon. He is officially a free agent and can sign with any team. The 33-year-old showed flashes of high-level play earlier this season, catching 27 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown. Ertz's intention is to join a contender, and teams like the Eagles, Ravens, or Chiefs represent potential landing spots. Of the three, Baltimore gives Ertz the only opportunity to be a starter again, though it seems like he's chasing a ring more than a starting role. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his free agency but can leave him on waivers for now.Source: Adam Schefter
5 days agoUpdating from a previous report, Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion) is questionable to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. Mike Vrabel stated that no that Titans' player is being ruled out for Sunday, but Burks still carries a "Q" tag into the AFC South battle. If he returns, it'll be his first game back from a three-game absence after he suffered a brutal hit that led to a concussion in Week 9. Although the Colts' defense was shredded by the pass to begin the season, they are now just a neutral matchup for wideouts. Burks is not worth starting this week, as DeAndre Hopkins is the clear No. 1 wide receiver for Will Levis.Source: Tennessee Titans
5 days agoNew England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry has delivered inconsistent results this season but has the potential to play a key role in Sunday's game against his old team, the Los Angeles Chargers. Just last week, Henry played 68 percent of snaps but went untargeted. At the same time, though, he has six games with at least five targets this season. He could be in line for significant opportunities this week if the Patriots want to take a more conservative approach on offense in Bailey Zappe's first start of the year. He's a mid-to-low TE2, but given how bye weeks and injuries have impacted the waiver wire, managers could justify Henry as a streaming option.Source: RotoBaller
5 days agoDetroit Lions running back David Montgomery (foot) was removed from the final Week 13 injury report on Friday and will play this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints on the road. Montgomery will continue to split backfield work with rookie first-rounder Jahmyr Gibbs as he plays through a minor foot injury. Gibbs has earned more work next to Montgomery in the second half of the season, but Monty remains fantasy relevant as a touchdown-dependent RB2 in starting lineups. The 26-year-old has seen 39 rushing attempts for 263 yards (6.74 yards per carry) and three touchdowns in three games since missing two contests with a rib injury. Montgomery is less attractive in PPR leagues, but he's been money for fantasy managers in 2023 with touchdowns in all but one of his eight games played.Source: Detroit Lions
5 days agoNew England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker is in line for increased opportunities against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Both Demario Douglas (concussion) and Kayshon Boutte (shoulder) missed practice on Friday, suggesting that they won't suit up in Week 13. That leaves the Patriots with very little depth at wide receiver. DeVante Parker should headline the position and could be Bailey Zappe's top target after he caught three passes for 42 yards last week against the Giants. Despite Parker's increased role, the Patriots' limited production on offense takes him off the fantasy radar for the time being.Source: RotoBaller
5 days agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) has yet to pass through the league's concussion protocol, but "there's a chance that he could clear it" in time for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions, according to head coach Dennis Allen. Olave has practiced in a limited fashion this week and will most likely be questionable on Friday's final Week 13 injury report. The good news is fantasy managers will know whether Olave is active early on Sunday. The Saints are going to be thin at the receiver position, regardless of whether Olave is active, so rookie A.T. Perry, Keith Kirkwood and Lynn Bowden could have bigger roles in the passing game. Tight ends Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson also figure to see more involvement this Sunday against Detroit. Olave is a must-start in fantasy lineups if he plays. UPDATE: Olave is officially questionable for Week 13.Source: The New Orleans Times-Picayune - Matthew Paras
5 days agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson should be started in most fantasy leagues this week versus the Los Angeles Chargers. As the Patriots' passing offense proves to be unreliable, Stevenson has seen an increase in carries and short-yardage receptions. Over his last three contests, he has 273 rushing yards, 65 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. Even as Ezekiel Elliott maintains a role out of the backfield, Stevenson finds himself firmly in the RB2 tier ahead of Sunday's clash with a very suspect Los Angeles run defense.Source: RotoBaller
5 days agoNew England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe is expected to start his first game of the season in Week 13, and he immediately finds himself on the fantasy radar as a viable option in two-quarterback or superflex leagues. The second-year quarterback is a higher-upside passer than Mac Jones and should be trusted to air the ball out on Sunday afternoon. A matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers represents a great opportunity for Zappe to be given control of the offense. Fantasy managers should view him as a mid-to-low QB2 this week.Source: RotoBaller
5 days agoArizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (groin) was listed as questionable for the Week 13 contest on Sunday in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. McBride did not practice on Wednesday before putting in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday, so he appears to be on the right side of questionable for this one. However, fantasy managers are going to want to check back on Sunday morning to make sure he's officially active. The 24-year-old has emerged as a favorite target of quarterback Kyler Murray and has 20 catches on 25 targets for 234 yards in the three games since Murray returned from Injured Reserve. If McBride suits up this Sunday, fantasy managers should leave him in their starting lineups against the Steelers.Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss
