Blake Coleman notched a short-handed goal and Brayden Point finished the scoring with an empty-net goal. Palat's longest ever point streak stands at eight games, so he will be hunting for a big milestone over the weekend against Detroit. He has notched 15 goals and 45 points this season in 50 games with 102 shots and 77 hits.
