2 years agoKurt Leavins of The Edmonton Journal has reported that the Edmonton Oilers have their eye on Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny. A "contact with connections to the player" has told Leavins that Edmonton is one of a number of teams that are looking at Konecny, who had an impressive year on a struggling team with 31 goals and 61 points posted in 60 games. The 26-year-old is carrying a $5.5 million cap hit and has two more seasons to go on his contract. The Oilers scored a league-high 3.98 goals per game this regular season and the addition of Konecny would be a further boost to the team's offense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
