3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera (ankle, wrist) is back in the lineup on Thursday against Chicago Cubs right-hander Adbert Alzolay, playing center field and hitting sixth in the lineup. Herrera was held out of the lineup the last two days to rest some nagging injuries. The 29-year-old has been pretty cold with the lumber in the last two weeks, slashing just .175/.186/.325 with a homer and seven RBI in 43 plate appearances. He's been just so-so on the year as a whole, too, hitting .242 (54-for-223) with six home runs, a lackluster .294 on-base percentage, 25 RBI and four stolen bases. Herrera certainly isn't very exciting for daily lineups, especially come off some ankle and wrist issues of late.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
